About the Role



As a

Sales Administrator

, you will play a key role in supporting the sales team and ensuring a seamless customer experience from quote to delivery. This position is responsible for coordinating sales orders, maintaining data accuracy within ERP and CRM systems, and providing administrative and logistical support across departments.

The Sales Administrator acts as the central link between sales, logistics, operations, and accounting, driving efficiency, clear communication, and customer satisfaction while upholding LJ Welding's commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities



Accurately input and process customer sales orders in the ERP system. Ensure all necessary order details (payment, documentation, billing, shipping) are complete and properly routed to accounting and logistics. Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer, quote, and order information within the CRM system (HubSpot). Monitor order progress, shipment status, and coordinate updates to internal and customers. Assist the sales team with quotes, order tracking, and customer communication. Prepare and maintain sales reports, dashboards, and documentation. Work closely with logistics, operations, and production teams to align sales orders with production capacity and delivery timelines. Support resolution of customer issues through coordination with internal teams. Maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers to foster long-term partnerships. Contribute to team projects and process enhancements that improve efficiency and customer experience.

Desired Skills & Qualifications



Post-secondary education in business administration, operations, or a related field (preferred). 2-5 years of experience in sales coordination, administration, or customer service, ideally in manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environments. Proficient with ERP systems (Epicor preferred) and CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred). Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Positive attitude and enthusiasm for problem-solving and process improvement. Highly motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Working Conditions



Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Employees may occasionally be exposed to shop-related noise, dust, or vibrations. Standard office equipment is used, including computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing systems. Work involves prolonged periods of sitting, typing, and computer use, as well as occasional standing, walking, and light lifting of office supplies (up to 20 lbs / 9 kg). May require occasional visits to the shop or yard to interact with staff, attend meetings, or review projects, with PPE provided as required. The work environment is generally climate-controlled, but brief exposure to varying temperatures may occur when accessing shop or yard areas. Position may require occasional overtime or flexible hours. Work is primarily team-oriented and collaborative, with some independent tasks requiring focus and attention to detail.

Pay: $25.50-$30.00 per hour
