Sales Administration & Operations Specialist

Job Description

As a Sales Operations Specialist, you will play an important part in the success of our NA sales organization. You will work alongside a team of colleagues to perform maintenance and revenue generating activities in support of the sales organization. Primary activities include data entry, advanced account maintenance and updates, order processing, investigate and resolve order processing issues. Review the accuracy of orders and make order changes as needed. May perform reporting for sales teams to provide order visibility.
*This is a hybrid role: 3 days per week onsite in Vancouver Office*
Key Responsibilities o Support sales colleagues and partners

  • Process end customer and partner orders/quotes via web and verify orders for accuracy
  • Handle complex order processing issues and data entry projects with a technical or product-related nature
  • Ability to learn complex processes and systems in a timely manner; turning what you have learned into actionable productivity
  • Lead and/or participate in various time-sensitive projects
  • Provide system/data reporting on customer, partner, and renewal notice/retention data
  • Process various transactions, including but not limited to - subscriptions, cancellations, account modifications, upgrades, downgrades and migrations
  • Perform well under pressure
  • Ability to complete daily tasks/projects in a hybrid environment including in office work on varying days, based on needs of the business
  • Ability to self-start
  • Provide sales support and back-up assistance to colleagues as needed
  • Provide input on process improvements and efficiency opportunities
  • Participate cross functionally, working with others to solve problems as they arise

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Sales Operations, Order Entry and Customer Service
  • Strong communication skills in English in listening, writing and speaking
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Marketing or Technology preferred
  • Experience working with a MS Office, Outlook, Office 365, CRM, ERP, Ticketing systems like Service Now and Order Entry system like Fusion
  • Detailed oriented, ability to learn quickly and a strong team player a must
  • Excellent critical thinking, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in Enterprise Software or SaaS industry a plus but not required
Preferred
  • Experience utilizing SmartSheet and ServiceNow for task management
  • Experience with Fusion (SAP) CRM, accompanying BI reporting tools

The compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, education, and experience. Certain provinces in Canada require job postings to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range applicable to the role.
For this role, in those locations, the target salary range for new hires is: $51,000 salary to $60,000.
In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either a bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, commission plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. The range listed is just one component of the Sage total compensation package.
