We are expanding our regional team and are looking for a driven

Sales Consultant

to grow our business across Atlantic Canada.

Position Summary



The Sales Consultant will be responsible for prospecting and growing B2B accounts within Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland & Labrador. This is a customer-facing role focused on building long-term relationships, driving sales growth, and delivering solutions that help customers succeed.

This role requires the candidate to be based in Halifax.

Key Responsibilities



Develop and execute a territory growth strategy to achieve sales targets Prospect and secure new business across the foodservice and commercial sectors Expand and maintain strong relationships with existing customers Conduct onsite customer visits and business reviews across Atlantic Canada Understand customer needs and recommend product solutions across packaging, janitorial, and foodservice supply categories Work closely with purchasing, customer service, and operations teams to deliver on customer expectations Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales reporting Participate in trade shows, networking events, and industry functions

Qualifications



Must be based in Halifax, Nova Scotia 3-5 years of B2B sales experience Relevant experience is required -- must have worked in one or more of the following environments: A foodservice distributor (e.g. Sysco, Gordon Food Service, Flanagan, etc.) A packaging or food supply distributor A janitorial/sanitation supply distributor A wholesale or industrial distribution environment Strong understanding of distribution, supply chain, or account management Proven results in territory sales and new business development Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Comfortable traveling across Atlantic Canada as needed Valid driver's license required Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot, etc.) an asset Business or sales education preferred
