Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
The Manager of Social Work is responsible for planning and directing the provision of clinical social work services in the zone.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A Masters degree in Social Work or a related field.
- Must be registered and a member in good standing with the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers.
- Must have five years of experience as a clinical social worker in the health care field and three years of supervisory experience.
- Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
- Ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Good work record.
The Manager of Social Work is responsible for:
- Leading the planning and development of social work services
- Directing, overseeing and evaluating the provision of service
- Managing fiscal and human resources to ensure the quality and safety of service delivery
- Coordinating and evaluating workload and service delivery
- Providing clinical leadership and mentoring
- Developing, monitoring and ensuring compliance with standards, policies and procedures
- Performing the work of a social worker
