JOB PURPOSE
The Social Worker Supervisor is responsible for supervising the provision of services to clients, their families, and communities within Addictions and Mental Health.
QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in Social Work. Must be registered and a member in good standing with the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers.
• Must have three years of clinical experience in community addiction and/or mental health.
• Must have supervisory experience.
• Must have proof of valid Driver's License and access to a vehicle.
• Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
• Ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Good work record.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Social Worker Supervisor is responsible for:

• Assigning, overseeing, reviewing and evaluating service delivery
• Planning, directing and evaluating Addiction/Mental Health programs and services
• Providing staff orientation and coordinating staff development programs
• Serving as a communication link and liaison with internal and external stakeholders and liaising with Clinical Supervisors as required
• Developing and/or ensuring compliance with standards, policies and procedures
• Reviewing all open client files to ensure they have an active Recovery Plan with clear goals, objectives, timelines and discharge planning
• Performing the work of a social worker
