JOB PURPOSE




The Molecular Imaging Supervisor is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day coordination of a service, modality or modalities within one or more facilities and may also perform the work of a Technologist.

QUALIFICATIONS



Graduate of an approved Technology Program. Must be registered with the New Brunswick Regulatory College of Medical Radiation Technologists. Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience and demonstrated leadership ability. May be required to have training required to work in specialized areas. Ability to attend work on a regular basis. Ability to perform the duties of the position. Good work record.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES




The Molecular Imaging Supervisor is responsible for:

Assisting with organizing, planning, scheduling and supervising the service or modality/modalities Providing staff orientation and participating in staff development programs Identifying and mediating equipment maintenance and repairs Coordinating, mentoring and supporting staff, students and other health care professionals Developing and ensuring compliance with standards, policies and procedures Maintaining clinical and workload records and documentation Liaising with the clinical chief and other internal and external stakeholders Providing expertise as a clinical practice leader
