Spark Freight System is currently seeking an experienced

Safety & Compliance Officer

to join our team. This is a

full-time, onsite position

and

work from home is not permitted

. We are looking for

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with

IFTA

,

IRP

,

Driver HOS

, and all applicable regulations Manage and monitor

Driver HOS

logs and compliance Oversee the

driver hiring process

, including onboarding and documentation Maintain and update

safety files

: Driver files Truck and trailer files Maintenance records Handle

insurance audits

and compliance reviews Ensure adherence to

U.S. DOT (UDOT)

and

MTO (Ontario)

regulations Coordinate

IRP renewals

and related documentation Conduct internal safety audits and ensure ongoing compliance Communicate with management regarding compliance issues and corrective actions

Job Requirements:

Proven experience in

safety and compliance

within the trucking industry Strong knowledge of: IFTA Driver HOS Driver hiring and onboarding UDOT and MTO regulations Insurance audits Safety and maintenance files IRP renewals Highly organized with strong attention to detail Excellent communication and documentation skills Punctual and reliable

Onsite position only

currently in Canada

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
