We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented SAFETY/COMPLIANCE professional to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring that our workplace adheres to all safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. The ideal candidate will promote a culture of safety, conduct compliance audits, and implement procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements. Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments across all departments. Monitor compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant safety standards. Provide safety training sessions for new and existing employees to promote awareness and best practices. Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, or near-misses to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incident reports. Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and safety protocols. Stay updated on changes in safety regulations and industry best practices.

Requirements

Proven experience in safety management or compliance roles within a similar industry. Knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental health standards, and industry-specific safety protocols. Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct thorough risk assessments. Excellent communication skills for delivering training sessions and reporting findings effectively. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Certification such as OSHA 30-Hour or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory. Attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying potential hazards before they result in incidents.
