Citi has opened an exciting opportunity for a role as a java developer in its Prime Services Technology team. The team in Mississauga, Canada is a growing component of the Global Prime Services team that have team members spread around the globe, and this specific role is open in the Futures Risk Platform. Prime Services Technology is a group that build and support applications to support Citi\xe2\x80\x99s Prime Services businesses, which include Delta One Trading, Prime Brokerage, Stock Borrow Loan and Futures Trading, with this role specifically aligned to the Futures Trading business. Futures are derivative contracts that allow the sale of an asset for a price agreed today, but at a future date. The assets range from commodities like soybeans, orange juice, oil, or individual stocks in companies. Clients will trade Futures with large investment banks such as Citi. One off the applications that supports this business is the Futures Risk Platform, where this opportunity exists. The successful candidate will work on this system which monitors the clients trades in real-time to identify risk and set trading limits when appropriate. This is a unique opportunity to work on a global trading platform from here in Dublin, working with stakeholders and other technology teams both here in Ireland and around the globe.
The Java Developer for the Futures Risk Platform will support and transform the blending of in house and vendor hybrid solution for pre-trade and at-trade risk and limit management for Futures Business.
