Job Summary

We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented

RV Service Technician

to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and installing various components and systems in recreational vehicles (RVs). This is a hands-on position ideal for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

Perform

pre-delivery inspections (PDIs)

and accessory installations on RVs. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain

propane gas and electric appliances

such as furnaces, refrigerators, water heaters, stoves, and air conditioners. Conduct

structural and body repairs

, including work on fiberglass, siding, windows, doors, and roofs. Install, replace, and maintain

interior features

such as flooring, cabinetry, countertops, vents, and awnings. Service and repair

plumbing, electrical, battery, and propane gas systems

. Install

trailer and fifth wheel hitches

, wire tow vehicles, and perform maintenance on trailer frames, undercarriages, and suspension systems (Note: this position does not include engine or drivetrain repair). Use

testing equipment

and manufacturer specifications to diagnose and complete repairs. Utilize

manuals, parts catalogues, and online resources

to identify and order necessary repair parts. Maintain

accurate documentation

of repairs, inspections, and parts used. Communicate effectively with supervisors, customers, and manufacturers to ensure timely and high-quality service. Perform brake and bearing service on trailers including wheel and tire changing. Other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Experience in RV repair, maintenance, or a related trade (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry). Ability to use

hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment

. Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols.

Pay: $26.76-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
