Prairie Sky RV is looking for a professional, hardworking, and analytical RV Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience servicing RVs, understanding how to repair various parts of the unit, and be familiar with the needs of campers and other road-trippers. This position is a great opportunity for a person who has experience working with recreational vehicles in some capacity. RVST ticket preferred but not a must. We are willing to train and send to school (SAIT).

RV techs know a little bit about everything--electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, etc. If you can do any one of these, we'll teach you the rest! To get started as a new RV tech in our dealership, you don't need specific RV experience. But you do need to be handy, dedicated, responsible, and professional. We run an honest shop and need honest, hard-working techs who see the value in a good day's work for good a day's pay. We have been voted best of the best RV dealer 10 years running. Job Responsibilities:

Examine and diagnose RV problems

Discuss repairs with shop foreman or RV service advisor

Communicate additional service requests to RV service advisor

Plan work procedures in cooperation with shop foreman

Provide labor time estimates to RV service advisor

Monitor repair time and update RV service advisor regularly

Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on RV care and operation

Complete story and/or documentation for client repair orders

Assist in mentoring RV technician trainees

Attend company and factory training

Communicate with customers

Keep current with factory technical bulletins

Understand and follow federal, provincial, and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)

Ongoing learning and educating

Keeping up with manufacturers and suppliers on new products and trends

Other:

High school diploma or GED (general equivalency diploma), or 6-12 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Driver's license with clean record is a must

Overtime pay when needed

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
