Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a caregiver in a senior care environment. This position is ideal for those who have experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or working with individuals with disabilities. The caregiver will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing support and assistance with daily activities.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care to residents, including assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing Administer medications as prescribed and monitor residents for any changes in health status Prepare nutritious meals and assist residents during mealtime Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties Engage residents in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation Support individuals with dementia by employing specialized care techniques tailored to their needs Document care provided and report any concerns to the nursing staff or management

Qualifications

Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, or senior care is preferred Familiarity with medication administration and caregiving best practices Experience working with people with disabilities is a plus Knowledge of dementia care techniques is highly desirable Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations Ability to perform cleaning tasks and maintain a tidy environment Commitment to providing high-quality care and support to residents

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
