Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expediter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, maintaining high standards of customer service and food safety. The ideal candidate will have a background in food service or hospitality, with strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Duties

Coordinate food orders between the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely delivery. Monitor food presentation and quality before serving to guests. Assist in food preparation and meal assembly as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and service areas. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Collaborate with kitchen staff to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred. Familiarity with kitchen operations, including cooking, cleaning, and meal preparation. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests. Experience with cash handling and cashiering duties is a plus. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
