Description

Responsibilities:



Provides project management on large scale, high profile and high-risk projects for OPS I&IT initiatives. Manage technical teams ensuring project deliverables meet clients' business requirements on time, scope, and budget, with a focus on cost-effectiveness, efficiencies and compliance with OPS project management methodologies and frameworks.

Work Arrangement



This role follows an Onsite Arrangement. As of October 20, 2025, the candidate is required to work onsite 4 days a week and from January 5, 2026, the candidate is required to work onsite 5 days a week or as directed by the Hiring Manager. An in-person interview may be required, including a skills demonstration.

Strong in leading development and scrum teams. Plan and leads all phases of complex enterprise-wide projects, scheduling activities, explaining procedures, and monitoring the work of assigned technical resources.

: Coordinates project processes, develops guidelines, clarifies roles, resolves conflicts, and ensures knowledge sharing.

Risk Management

: Identifies and mitigates risks, prioritizes issues, and recommends strategies to senior executives.

Presentation of a project -

15%

As part of the selection process, we invite all selected candidates to prepare a presentation that includes the following: A description of a project they personally managed Main project challenges and risks and how they were resolved. Any use of AI functionality to expedite the project timelines or reduce risk and cost. Selected candidates will present their project as part of the interview process.

Project and Team Management

- 35%

Experience in managing Scrum or technical teams. Leads project teams to deliver high-quality products and services. Strong Knowledge and /or experience of using AI tools for Project Management Resolves team impediments to increase the effectiveness of the development team. Identifies areas for improvement to boost the productivity of the Scrum Team. Facilitates and supports Daily Standup, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Retrospective. Proficient in requirements refinement, story point estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other scrum techniques. Identifies, manages, and reports risks and issues.

Communication and Collaboration -

25%

Excellent ability to develop crisp, concise, and engaging reports and presentation material for various audience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Collaborates with diverse teams and negotiates solutions with multiple stakeholders. Manages client relationships, providing updates and resolving potential conflicts. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Effective interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

Business and System Analysis -

25%

Conducts review of business/system analysis to identify gaps in supporting software and product development. Strong Knowledge and /or experience of using AI tools for Business Analysis Collaborates with the Ministry's product owner to prioritize the product backlog. Ability to recommend software, hardware, and technology resources.
Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: Up to $90.00 per hour
