Job Description


This is a contract position for a Report Developer - Senior for our public sector client.
Work location: Downtown Toronto
Duration: Four Months
7.25 hours/day
This is a Hybrid role that requires the candidate to be onsite 3 days of the week (This is a mandatory requirement of the role and is non-negotiable outside of exceptional circumstances.)Advantages

Advanced Microsoft Power BI development experience, including analysis, design, build, testing and implementing reports and dashboards
Advanced experience with Power Apps, Dataverse, Direct Query and Power Query in the Power Platform environment
Advanced experience in data processing and visualization
Advanced experience in integrating data from different sources
Experience in Python programming and DAX to analyze datasets and build models to extract reports and dashboards
Experience with relational database concepts and technologiesQualifications

  • Provide specialized skills for developing data access queries and analyses. \xe2\x80\xa2 Works in conjunction with data analysts for developing dashboards and other end user solutions. \xe2\x80\xa2 Acts as a liaison between technical departments and business departments. General Skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience building, testing and implementing complex reports, dashboards, and other objects \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide technical guidance and subject matter expertise on report implementation to OPS staff \xe2\x80\xa2 Building data models optimized for business intelligence and analytic functions \xe2\x80\xa2 Financial Data reporting and data reconciliation \xe2\x80\xa2 Prototyping to develop business requirements for future implementation \xe2\x80\xa2 Analyze, Design, Build and Test databases based on business requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 Analyze, Design, Build and Test Reports, Dashboards and other objects \xe2\x80\xa2 Design functional test and technical deployment strategies \xe2\x80\xa2 Research, document, prototype, design, build, test and implement business requirements for advanced business intelligence and analytic capabilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Design, build and deploy data models optimized for business intelligence and analytics \xe2\x80\xa2 Analyze, Design, Build and Test data models and integration with third party systems \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct research and prototyping of new business intelligence and analytics capabilities to support OPS business requirements

Experience and Skill Set Requirements
Technical ExperienceAdvanced Microsoft Power BI development experience, including analysis, design, build, testing and implementing reports and dashboards

Experience with providing post-implementation support and resolving any post-implementation technical issues
