This is a Hybrid Role with some days in the office a week. This is a mandatory requirement of the role and is non negotiable outside of exceptional circumstances.

Responsibilities
*Create effective, user friendly, accessible (AODA-compliant) and visually appealing interfaces.
*Design the overall functionality of the product in order to ensure a great user experience, iterate upon it in accordance
with user-testing.
*Design user interfaces for various projects such as digital displays, publications, media, and other creative materials as
required.
*Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate the designs.
*Conceive and conduct user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, user flows, customer
journey maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes.
*Lead requirements sessions to collect user needs. Review user needs and requirements to identify features for
information reports and dashboards.
*Assess requirements/features based on impact and feasibility in partnership with subject matter experts. Provide
timelines for minimum viable products.
*Develop wireframes for the minimum viable products for each information report and dashboard in the user needs
sessions.
Qualifications
*Portfolio of candidates experience is a must have for the role.
*Experience in designing modern UI/UX for Dashboard applications/ information products, single page web applications
and native mobile applications.
*Portfolio of recent work demonstrating UI/UX expertise in designing web reports.
*Expert knowledge of information architecture and interaction design, user-centered design process, and user
experience principles and techniques.
*Experience in usability testing and accessibility compliance (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
*Experience in Agile environment
