The Minerva Pain Management Group is expanding its clinical activities and is planning to add a RN/RPN (Part-Time - Contract) to the Group to assist with these endeavors. We're looking for a highly professional RN/RPN who is comfortable in working in a fast pace environment and communicating with doctors as well as tending to the needs of his or her patients. The successful candidate will be expected to support the following roles:
1. Chronic pain intake assessments
2. Simple injections of pain trigger points & bursae
3. Urine drug testing
4. Administrative support
5. Electronic Medical Record (EMR) support
6. Create and contribute to patients' medical records as needed
The successful candidate will start in a training program to familiarize themselves with various clinical activities, with the goal of achieving full supervised practice ASAP. Training materials to be provided by the clinic. The candidate will help to create appropriate job descriptions as they evolve.
Starting salary will be congruent with HealthForce Ontario guidelines (to be discussed further with successful candidate).
Job Type: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm 
Successful candidate will be:
3+ years' nursing experience, preferably in a pain clinic facility
Valid nursing license
Advanced knowledge of EMRs
Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to fill in when needed
Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
Ability to explain treatments and conditions to patients of all ages
Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations
