Job Qualification
Graduation and current license (in good standing) from an accredited Licensed Registered Nurse Program and regulatory body. Standard First Aid & CPR/ AED (Level C), a vehicle and driver's license. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine nursing duties while working with individual clients in their homes in accordance with Bayshore policies/procedures and following the Standards of Nursing Practice as defined by the provincial licensing body.
Follow the established client Care Plan which can include activities and skills such as health assessments, health teaching, vital sign monitoring, tracheostomy care, medication administration, g-tube feeds, wound care, and general care within the designated scope of practice. Prior experience working with pediatric clients is an asset.
Provide individual client care and build a professional relationship with your client while ensuring that, on an ongoing basis, the emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety of clients are met to the greatest possible extent.
Following professional and Bayshore Home Health standards you will observe, document and report client conditions, changes and if required to the immediate Supervisor at the branch office.
Understand and implement infection prevention control practices.
Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities.
Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System.
Participates in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Is responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns
Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel.

Qualifications
:
Education
Graduate from an accredited/recognized School of Nursing (evidence required)
Current RPN or LPN registration (in good standing) with the applicable provincial licensing body
Valid CPR certification
Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
Candidates who have been offered a position are required to provide:
A clear criminal background check with vulnerable sector screening,
Proof of being free from TB
Two supervisory references
