Rooming patients for physicians, triaging calls, injections re: B12, allergy serums, immunizations, etc, ear flushes, assist with biopsies, procedures as needed. clear and concise documentation Clear and concise communication with patients, staff and physicians. Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, renewed annually A commitment to optimal standard of nursing care within the centre's environment, serving patients of all ages Provide current Basic Cardiac Life Support certificate Membership in the RPNAO (malpractice insurance recommended) Demonstrate punctuality, timely arrival for daily preparations Team player, assist others as necessary Handle records with care and confidentiality Ability to handle, label and package patient specimens Identify unsafe situations and report to the Manager In absence of nursing duties, participate in administrative duties.
Supplies

Use equipment and supplies in a cost effective manner. Seek assistance for training when required. Ensure tidying of rooms at the end of shift. Ensure rooms are restocked at a regular point throughout each week.
Qualifications (other)

Computer knowledge with EMR(PS Suites) an asset Organized, ability to complete work within time frames Professional and courteous phone manner Team player, willingness to assist others Ability to work under pressure / urgent responses
