La planification efficace et l'affectation des reparations des vehicules a l'atelier de la mecanique et le personnel de service.
S'assurer que les reparations soient faites correctement et efficacement par des techniciens qualifies et que le service apres-vente maintien constamment un niveau eleve de satisfaction de la clientele.
Assurer l'efficacite et la productivite de l'atelier.

Responsabilites - Productivite:
Distribuer et gerer les bons de travail en s'assurant l'efficacite generale de l'atelier
S'assurer que toutes les reparations sont attribuees aux techniciens de facon egale et juste
Verifier l'etat d'avancement de chaque reparation tout au long de la journee.
Etablir les priorites de tous les retours a l'atelier et les controler en vue d'assurer une attention appropriee et immediate.
Informer le contremaitre de tous les retours en atelier
S'assurer de la productivite des techniciens
Participer au traitement des plaintes des clients qui sont liees a des erreurs d'assignation en collaboration avec son superieur.
Comprendre les modalites des garanties et des politiques du manufacturier et en assurer le respect
Se tenir informe du rendement du service en utilisant des outils tels le controle quotidien des operations, le controle de l'efficience et de la productivite, les rapports sur les retours a l'atelier, les rapports sur les garanties, les sondages telephoniques et les previsions mensuelles.
Collaborer avec les autres departements au partage de main d'oeuvre de maniere a optimiser les operations
Responsabilites - Atelier:
Fermer l'atelier a tous les soirs (lumiere, chauffage, portes, ventilation
Surveiller l'etat de l'atelier, y compris la proprete, la securite et l'etat du materiel.
Signaler les problemes au directeur du service apres-vente ou au concessionnaire.
Avertir le directeur des pieces et le directeur du service apres vente des penuries frequentes afin que la situation puisse etre corrigee.
Assurer le bon entretien, le remisage et l'inventaire des outils speciaux.
Informer la direction des besoins de materiel, fournitures et reparations a effectuer dans le but de maintenir les operations du departement.
Preparer une liste du materiel, des fournitures et des reparations dont le service apres-vente a besoin et la verifier aupres de son directeur, s'il y a lieu.
Etre a l'affut des reglements federaux, provinciaux et municipaux qui touchent les travaux d'entretien, tels l'elimination des dechets dangereux, etc., les comprendre et les respecter
Responsabilites - gestion des ressources humaines:
Controler les rapports quotidiens de productivite des techniciens et les registres de presence.
Transmettre le fichier des heures travailles au departement de la paie.
Motiver les techniciens sous sa responsabilite
Rechercher l'harmonie et l'esprit d'equipe au sein du service et avec tous les autres services.
Examiner, sur une base reguliere, le rendement de tous les techniciens selon les orientations de la concession.
Preparer une liste de technicien pour le temps supplementaire en respectant la convention collective
Veiller au respect des normes SST (exemple; inspection des outils et equipements, minimum de 2 techniciens dans l'atelier, manutention etc...)
Responsabilites - diverses:
Assister a diverses reunions sur invitation.
Connaitre les articles de la convention collective applicables a la gestion des techniciens
Assurer la securite du milieu de travail.
Se presenter de maniere professionnelle.

Your area of focus.
Effectively scheduling and assigning vehicle repairs to the mechanics' shop and service personnel.
Ensuring that repairs are performed correctly and efficiently by qualified technicians and that the after-sales service department consistently maintains a high level of customer satisfaction.
Ensuring the efficiency and productivity of the shop.
What drives your day to day?
Responsibilities: Productivity
Distribute and manage work orders, ensuring overall shop efficiency.
Ensure all repairs are assigned equally and fairly to technicians. Monitor the progress of each repair throughout the day.
Prioritize and monitor all returns to the shop to ensure proper and immediate attention.
Inform the foreman of all returns to the shop.
Ensure technician productivity.
Participate in handling customer complaints related to assignment errors in collaboration with their supervisor.
Understand and ensure compliance with the terms of the manufacturer's warranties and policies.
Stay informed of department performance using tools such as daily operations monitoring, efficiency and productivity monitoring, return-to-shop reports, warranty reports, telephone surveys, and monthly forecasts.
Collaborate with other departments to share labor in order to optimize operations
Responsibilities: Workshop
Close the shop every evening (lights, heat, doors, ventilation)'
Monitor the condition of the shop, including cleanliness, safety, and equipment condition.
Report problems to the Service Manager or dealer.
Notify the Parts Manager and Service Manager of frequent shortages so that the situation can be corrected.
Ensure the proper maintenance, storage, and inventory of special tools.
Inform management of equipment, supplies, and repair needs to maintain department operations.
Prepare a list of equipment, supplies, and repairs required by the Service
Department and verify it with the manager, if applicable.
Be aware of, understand, and comply with federal, provincial, and municipal regulations affecting maintenance work, such as hazardous waste disposal, etc.
Responsibilities: Human Resources Management
Monitor technicians' daily productivity reports and attendance records.
Forward the hours worked file to the payroll department.
Motivate the technicians under his/her responsibility.
Strive for harmony and team spirit within the department and with all other departments.
Regularly review the performance of all technicians according to dealership guidelines.
Prepare a list of technicians for overtime in accordance with the collective agreement.
Ensure compliance with OHS standards (e.g., inspection of tools and equipment, minimum of two technicians in the workshop, handling, etc.).
Other duties:
Attend various meetings by invitation.
Be familiar with the collective agreement provisions applicable to technician management.
