Summary

:

Laminacorr, a leading provider of high-quality corrugated packaging solutions in Cornwall, Ontario, is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Day Shift Operator (7:30 am- 3:30 pm) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in the corrugated industry and experience operating advanced machinery.

Key Responsibilities

:

Operate the Rotary Ward 1500 66x113, 3 colour die cutter

Perform routine machine setup, operation, and minor maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

Monitor quality and productivity while adhering to strict safety and industry standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues as they arise.

Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in the corrugated industry as an operator.

Experience with Flexo printing and die cutting is essential.

Experience with Flexo Folder Gluer an asset.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

mechanically inclined

have excellent math and measurement skills

acute vision and color identification

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to maintain records regarding material, equipment, and repairs.

Excellent analytical and problem solving and troubleshooting abilities

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Working Conditions:

This job is performed in an industrial environment, and generally requires 75% standing, 25% walking. Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling may be required from time to time.

Regular exposure to dust, fumes and noise can be expected.

Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, are required

Hours of Work:

8 Shifts (07:30am - 3:30pm) Days Monday to Friday
