Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Rope Access Supervisor (IRATA/SPRAT Level 3) to join our team. This role involves performing inspections, installations, and repairs in hard-to-reach areas using rope access techniques. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and the ability to work at heights while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

:

Conduct inspections, installations, and repairs on various structures and equipment using rope access methods; Utilize hand tools for mechanical tasks and routine maintenance; Collaborate with team members to ensure project completion within deadlines while maintaining high safety standards; Follow all safety guidelines and protocols during operations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE); Document work performed and report any issues or concerns to supervisors; Supervising rope access technicians to ensure you and your team are working safely and effectively; Teaching other rope access technicians to grow and enhance their rope access skills; Leading project operations and safety meetings; Oversee project execution, manage resources effectively, and maintain budget adherence to meet client expectations; Maintaining, assembling, and inspecting tools and equipment required at your work sites; Verifying the work hours of the technicians in your team; Communicate effectively with customers and managers to maintain consistent workflow and customer satisfaction;

Requirements:

Level 3 IRATA or SPRAT Not afraid of heights and able to work on ladders and suspended stages Enthusiasm and decent work attitude Valid BC driver's license is an asset, but not required Must be able to work while suspended in harness for extended periods of time Be capable of functioning in climatic extremes Construction industry experience, general labour experience, and / or job site supervisor experience is an asset
