Position Summary:

Tacten is seeking Level 1 Rope Access Apprentice Insulators to support our client site in Fort McMurray, AB. This isn't just a job, it's an opportunity to grow your skills, expand your expertise, and make a real impact in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Position Information:

Start: July 31, 2025 14 and 14 rotation, 12 hour shifts IRATA Level 1 ticket required, or willingness to obtain Need to be local to Fort McMurray

Responsibilities:
Install insulation materials, such as foam, fiberglass, or mineral wool, to prevent heat transfer, reduce energy consumption, or control sound. Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas. Secure insulation in place using appropriate fasteners and adhesives. Regularly inspect insulation for signs of wear, damage, or degradation. Replace or repair insulation that has become compromised. Recommend and implement improvements or upgrades to enhance insulation performance. Consult with clients or project managers to determine insulation needs based on factors like temperature requirements, acoustic considerations, or electrical insulation needs. Provide recommendations on the most suitable insulation materials and techniques for different environments. Collaborate with construction or maintenance teams to ensure proper installation according to specifications.

Requirements:
3rd year Insulator (if Non-Ticketed, a summary of hours must be provided) IRATA Level 1 ticket required, or willingness to obtain Current safety certifications as required Exceptional safety and quality awareness
