This hands-on position supports the maintenance and upkeep of guest rooms, condos, townhomes, hotel spaces, employee housing and shared facilities across the resort.
If you're a true "Jack or Jill of all trades" who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys variety, and can balance guest-facing service with behind-the-scenes problem solving, you'll thrive in this role.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily and preventative maintenance across a variety of resort buildings, including guest accommodations, staff housing, and resort outlets.
  • Complete work requests in a timely, efficient, and professional manner while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Conduct weekly inspections of assigned properties, identifying and addressing maintenance issues, potential hazards, and repair needs.
  • Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot residential appliances, plumbing fixtures, and basic electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Support other maintenance team members with carpentry, lock repairs, painting, patch work, and general upkeep tasks.
  • Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests, ensuring issues are resolved with minimal disruption.
  • Assist outside contractors as required and communicate effectively with internal departments.
  • Document all inspections, maintenance work, and repairs performed.
  • Perform safety and equipment checks; maintain tools and work areas in clean, safe conditions.
  • Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture within the Maintenance Department.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Valid BC driver's license and clear driver's abstract.
  • Secondary education is required; post-secondary trades training is an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in general building or facilities maintenance preferred.
  • Knowledge of residential, multi-family, and commercial building systems (plumbing, electrical, mechanical).
  • Basic hand tool knowledge and mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills -- comfortable interacting with guests, employees, and contractors.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks safely.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions
This is a hands-on, year-round position that requires flexibility to support resort operations, including occasional weekends, evenings, and holidays. Work involves both indoor and outdoor environments in a mountain resort setting.
