Part Time Room Attendant / Housekeeper

As a

Room Attendant

, you'll be part of a hands-on team responsible for maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and laundry operations. This is a key position that directly impacts guest satisfaction, cleanliness scores, and the overall image of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities



Clean, sanitize, and prepare guest rooms according to Hilton brand standards. Change linens, make beds, replace towels, and restock amenities. Clean and maintain

public areas

(lobby, hallways, elevators, washrooms, etc.) during assigned shifts. Perform

laundry duties

including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens. Report any maintenance or safety concerns immediately to the supervisor or General Manager. Maintain cleaning carts, storage areas, and equipment in a neat and orderly condition. Ensure all assigned rooms and public spaces meet cleanliness and presentation standards. Follow all health and safety protocols, including use of PPE and chemical handling. Assist with

special projects or deep cleaning tasks

as assigned (e.g., carpet shampooing, window cleaning). Support team members when required -- teamwork is essential in all shifts. Uphold a

professional, positive, and respectful attitude

with guests and coworkers. Be punctual, reliable, and take

ownership

of your assigned areas. Complete all

Hilton training modules

as required within assigned timelines. Perform other related duties as assigned by the

General Manager or their delegate

.

What We're Looking For



Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred (hotel experience is an asset). Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order. Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision. Must be physically able to lift, push, and pull up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Positive attitude, teamwork, communication, eagerness to learn, and accountability

are essential. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Schedule & Compensation



Part-time position with potential for fulltime (varied shifts including weekends)

$15-$16/hr based on experience

Potential wage review after 3 months

of successful employment Health benefits after 6 months

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
