The
Room Attendant
cleans guest suites in an allotted time period, while providing exceptional customer service, using the proper procedures and chemicals provided by management.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
TeamWillingness to accept the most effective role.
Independently clean all room types following Kaizen processes.
Perform tasks including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, replacing supplies, and cleaning windows, mirrors, and patios.
Use chemicals safely, following instructions and safety data sheets.
Follow safety protocols, including bending, lifting, equipment use, and protection against bloodborne pathogens.
Maintain and restock a clean, organized cart with sufficient supplies.
Report maintenance issues promptly.
Conserve energy by closing shades and adjusting HVAC in unoccupied rooms.
Close with an open mentality.
Keep all areas in like-new condition and website ready.
Guest
Ensure guests are greeted and acknowledged consistently, adhering to the 10/5 Rule.
Document and secure lost and found items.
Assist House person, including delivering guest requests and pick up of used guest items.
Ensure all guest areas are disinfected regularly throughout shift.
Responsible for following HotSOS guidelines.
Communicate with guests in a professional and friendly manner.
Financial
Protecting company assets by adhering to policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Traits
Familiar with housekeeping including sanitation, laundry operations, and guest service.
Physical Requirements
Capable of walking, standing, crawling, bending, stretching, twisting, climbing, kneeling, crouching, lifting up to and including above your head, repetitive movements.
Dexterity of the hands with ability to squeeze hands, twist and rotate wrists and elbows.
Lifting up to 25lbs
Pushing, pulling turning heavy carts, up to 50lbs.
Making a bed, including bunk beds by climbing a ladder, getting on to the bed
Climbing up to 4 flights of stairs
Working at a fast pace
Additional Requirements
Newly hired Pack Members must submit a completed police clearance to Human Resources. Employment may begin before the results are received, based on the Pack Member's confirmation that they have no unpardoned criminal convictions. If the clearance reveals a conviction, the employer may terminate employment on a case-by-case basis, providing only the minimum notice required under the Employment Standards Act, 2000, with no additional notice or compensation.
