Room Attendant / Laundry Attendant
Duties - Room Attendant
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, ensuring they are tidy, organized, and inviting for guests
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock amenities
- Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop floors
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms
- Empty trash and replace garbage bags
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
Duties - Laundry Attendant
-sort and prepare used linen for laundry.
-clean used linen by operate the machines as per training and to standard
-fold and prepare clean linen for pick up and delivery
-insure cleanliness and order of laundry room is maintained while on duty
-monitor cleaning supplies and alert management as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and products is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient completion of tasks
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including bending, lifting, and standing for long periods of time
- Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members in a professional manner
