Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager the Room Attendant, will be working to ensure guest satisfaction. This is achieved through by maintaining guest room cleanliness, creating a great first impression and by providing personalized and thoughtful service to all our guests.



As a Room Attendant, you'll get to:



Cleaning all assigned guest rooms to hotel standards. This includes cleaning bathrooms, changing sheets and making beds, dusting, and vacuuming in each guest room. Reporting any damage of flooring surfaces, carpets, and upholsteries Ensuring the use of cleaning chemicals is according to the instructions set by the hotel Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of cleaning equipment Reporting any unusual and suspicious behaviour of guests or staff Conducting duties in a courteous, safe, and efficient manner, in accordance with hotel policies and procedures, ensuring that the highest level of service and communication Complying with all hotel standards and Procedures Actively promoting a courteous work environment, for guests and associates alike Ensuring compliance with legislated health and safety requirements within the workplace Such other similar or related duties as may be required from time to time

What we are looking for:



Ability to work different shifts including weekends. Motivated, detail orientated and organized individual, with a strong work ethic and the ability to excel in a face paced environment. Experience working in a fast-paced environment is an asset Must be able to move throughout the hotel (standing, walking, kneeling, and bending) for extended periods of time. Must be able to make repeated and continued movements of the shoulders, elbows and hands (below waist and overhead movement) as well as use various cleaning equipment and chemicals.
