Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated individuals for various roofing positions within our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic and a passion for construction. This role involves working on residential and commercial roofing projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using various materials such as shingles, metal, and tiles. Perform inspections to assess the condition of roofs and identify necessary repairs. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete roofing tasks. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high-quality standards. Follow work orders and specifications to ensure accurate installation of roofing materials. Conduct heavy lifting as required during the installation and repair processes. Apply caulking and other sealants to ensure waterproofing of roofs.

Skills

Proficient in the use of hand tools relevant to roofing and construction tasks. Experience in general construction practices, with a focus on roofing techniques. Knowledge of carpentry principles as they relate to roof framing and installation. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings for accurate project execution. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions. Previous maintenance person experience is a plus, showcasing versatility in home improvement tasks. Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
