D&D Commercial Roofing is looking for experienced roofers and labourers to join our team. With upcoming projects throughout Alberta, we have constant work and are continually growing. We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals and are willing to work with the right candidate(s). Wage is to be based on experience and certifications.

Education:

No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience:

Experience an asset

Duties and responsibilities

Load, unload and transport construction equipment materials

Mix, pour and spread materials

Clean and pile salvaged materials

Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites

Operate various tools and equipment.

Cleans up worksites from obsolete or hazardous materials. General Housekeeping.

Provide labour support as needed.

Follow safety protocols

Render support in the Installation of roofing systems

Removal of roofing applications on hand

Responsible for utilizing, holding, or supplying materials or tools during projects

Clean work area and equipment, set ladders in place for taking supplies to roofs

Prepare the roofs for the application of new roofing materials

Responsible for taking down materials and tools from work trucks and unroll roofing materials as directed

Maintain tools and equipment pre and after work

Set up safety-related equipment to protect the project site

Safely climb a ladder frequently to supply materials

Lifting over 50lb

Abilities

Ability to learn and follow safety policy

Ability to work in all weather conditions

Ability to lift heavy materials and tools

Ability to use powered hand tools

Ability to work at heights

Willingness to work out of town

Fall Arrest, Torch Safety, Fire Extinguisher, Standard First Aid or/and telehandler training/certification considered an asset.
