Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Shingler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in roofing and possess a strong understanding of construction techniques. This role involves installing and repairing shingles on residential broofs, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

Install, repair, and replace shingles on roofs, ensuring proper alignment and sealing. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete roofing tasks. Perform caulking to seal joints and prevent water leaks. Assist in heavy lifting of materials, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality standards. Conduct regular inspections of completed work to ensure durability and compliance with building codes.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Shingler or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to roofing tasks. Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings. Strong maintenance person skills with a background in carpentry or general construction preferred. Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work at heights safely. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
