Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Roofer/Laborer to join our team. As a Roofer/Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with various roofing projects and performing general labor duties. This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work at heights and perform heavy lifting. Duties: -Gumming shingles
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofs
- Prepare work areas by removing debris and organizing materials
- Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing
- Assist with the assembly of scaffolding and safety equipment
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete tasks
- Perform general labor duties as assigned Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Roofer or Laborer is preferred but not required
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds)
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of basic hand tools used in roofing projects
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 \xe2\x80\x93 50 per week Benefits:
