Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofer/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. This role involves various roofing tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of roofing systems. The Roofer/Laborer will also assist with general labor duties as needed.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using various materials such as shingles, metal, and tiles. Perform caulking and sealing tasks to ensure waterproofing of roofs. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for roofing projects. Assist in heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required on job sites. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times while on the job site.

Requirements

Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to roofing tasks. Capable of performing heavy lifting (up to 75 pounds) as part of daily responsibilities. Experience in carpentry or maintenance person work is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. Willingness to learn new skills and techniques in roofing practices.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
