Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using various materials such as shingles, metal, and tiles. Collaborate with team members to complete roofing projects efficiently and safely. Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate installation and compliance with specifications. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and installing roofing materials. Perform caulking to seal joints and prevent leaks in roofing systems. Assist in heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required on job sites. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks on the job site.

Requirements

Previous experience in roofing or related fields such as carpentry or maintenance person services is preferred. Ability to read blueprints and understand technical specifications related to roofing projects. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. A commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail is essential.
