We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofer/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow within the roofing industry. This role involves working on various roofing projects, assisting in the installation and repair of roofs while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Duties

Assist in the tear off and installation of roofing materials including shingles and metal roofing. Perform repairs on existing roofs by identifying leaks and damage. Utilize hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and fastening materials. Engage in heavy lifting tasks as required for transporting materials. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely. Maintain a clean work environment at all times.

Experience

Previous experience in the trades is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in roofing and construction tasks. Experience with heavy lifting, ensuring physical capability to perform job duties. Basic maintenance person experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility in skills.
