We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofer/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the ability to perform various roofing tasks while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. This position involves working with hand tools and materials to construct, repair, and maintain roofs on residential and commercial buildings.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using various materials such as shingles, metal, or tiles. Utilize hand tools effectively to complete roofing tasks, including caulking and sealing. Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements. Assist in building structures as needed, demonstrating skills in carpentry and general maintenance person tasks. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required during roofing projects. Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and safe at all times. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and within deadlines.

Qualifications

Previous experience in roofing. Proficiency with hand tools and equipment used in roofing applications. Strong understanding of caulking techniques and materials. Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions accurately. Basic carpentry skills. Must be physically fit to handle heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or climbing. A commitment to safety practices on the job site is essential.
