Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofer/Laborer to join our team. This position involves working on various roofing projects, assisting in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofs. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. This role requires physical stamina and the capability to handle various construction tasks.

Duties

Assist in the installation of roofing systems, including shingles, tiles, and metal roofing. Perform repairs on existing roofs by identifying issues and applying appropriate solutions. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during roofing tasks. Engage in heavy lifting and carrying of materials as needed on job sites. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Provide maintenance person support for additional construction tasks as required.

Experience

Previous experience in construction or carpentry is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in roofing and general construction. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday A background in maintenance person services will be considered a plus for this role.
