Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofer/Laborer to join our team. This role involves working on various roofing projects, providing essential support in the construction and maintenance of roofs. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Duties

Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems. Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete roofing tasks. Perform heavy lifting as required for materials and equipment during projects. Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate execution of roofing plans. Apply caulking and other sealants to ensure waterproofing of roofs. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

Proficiency with hand tools commonly used in construction and roofing tasks. Experience in general construction practices, including carpentry skills. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday. Familiarity with blueprint reading to understand project specifications. Previous maintenance person experience is a plus, showcasing versatility in construction-related tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
