Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofer/Laborer to join our team. This position involves working on various roofing projects, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to perform heavy lifting, and experience with hand tools.

Duties

Install, repair, and replace roofing systems using various materials such as shingles. Perform caulking and sealing to ensure roofs are watertight. Conduct inspections of roofs to identify issues or areas needing repair. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to complete roofing projects effectively. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for roofing tasks. Lift heavy materials and equipment as needed during installation and repair processes. Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience as a roofer or in a related construction role is preferred. Strong skills in building, carpentry, and maintenance person tasks are highly desirable. Physical stamina and strength to perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 50 pounds). Proficient in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, and drills. A commitment to safety practices on the job site. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
