Laborer

Colony Roofing is a family owned and operated 45 year old roofing company in Duncan and the Cowichan Valley BC. We are looking for a team player to join our team. We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, and willing to work hard. Must have Drivers license and own transpotation to job sites.

Duties:

Cleaning and repairing roofs Working with roofing materials and equipment Performing routine maintenance on roofs Maintaining equipment and tools for the job at hand Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision while still accomplishing the work assigned Must be able to work with small tools and equipment, must be able to use power tools safely and effectively, must be able to lift 40 lbs. on a regular basis, must have knowledge of roofing materials, tools, and installation of materials Must have basic math skills as we use various measurements throughout the day Must be able to follow directions, be dependable, punctual, and responsible

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while still maintaining the work at hand with care and attention to detail. We are very detail-oriented. We expect our team members to be that way too. We want our customers to be happy with their experience with us! Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing. We do not do email or phone communications during their job interview so please no phone calls or text messages unless directed otherwise. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while paying attention to detail. We are very detail-oriented. We expect our team members to be that way too. We want our customers to be happy with their experience with us! Ability to lift 40 lbs regularly as needed by our customers on their jobsites.

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
