Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing materials and techniques, as well as the ability to work at heights safely. The Roofer will collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Install, repair, and replace roofing systems using various materials such as shingles. Perform caulking and sealing to ensure roofs are watertight. Conduct inspections of roofs to identify issues or areas needing repair. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to complete roofing projects effectively. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for roofing tasks. Lift heavy materials and equipment as needed during installation and repair processes. Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

Experience in caulking techniques for effective sealing of roofs. Basic carpentry skills that complement roofing tasks. Ability to perform heavy lifting, ensuring physical fitness for the job demands. Strong building skills with attention to detail in all aspects of roofing work. General maintenance person abilities that enhance problem-solving on the job site. Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in roofing applications.
