We are looking to expand our subcontractor team with an experienced and skilled Roof Repair Technician to assist with small repair jobs in the Calgary area.

As a Roof Repair Technician, you will be responsible for performing small, efficient roof repairs for residential clients. This position requires an individual who can work independently and demonstrate attention to detail in all tasks. The ideal candidate will have roofing experience and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and assess roofs to determine necessary repairs. Complete minor roof repairs, such as fixing leaks, replacing shingles, and repairing flashing. Ensure all repairs are done in compliance with industry safety standards. Communicate effectively with customers to explain the scope of work and provide timely updates. Maintain a clean work environment and ensure job sites are safe. Provide recommendations for roof maintenance to clients as needed.

Requirements:

Previous experience in roof repair or a similar trade. Knowledge of roofing materials and repair techniques. Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot and resolve roofing issues. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions. Must have or be willing to obtain proper safety certifications (e.g., Fall Protection, WHMIS).

Preferred Skills:

Experience with residential roofing systems. Knowledge of Calgary's climate and its impact on roofing systems. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Customer service-oriented with a professional demeanor.
