Job Description

Requirements:

Operate manual or automatic transmission dump trucks or Mack trucks in full compliance with all road safety regulations. Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers, including checking gauges, lighting, electrical systems, and visually inspecting for water, oil, fuel, or air leaks. Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner. Maintain up-to-date electronic driver logs (all trucks are equipped with E-Logs). Communicate effectively with dispatch for route coordination and updates. Build and maintain positive, professional working relationships with customers and team members. Strictly adhere to all Ministry of Transportation regulations and the Ontario Highway Traffic Act.

Skills & Qualifications:

Possess a valid A/Z driver's license with a minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience operating tractor-trailers with flatbed or step-deck configurations. Clean Driver's Abstract and CVOR. Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to work flexible start times and adapt to changing schedules. Ability to work 50+ hours per week as needed. Competent in operating both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
