Job Summary

Join the VP Disposal team as a Roll Off Driver and play a crucial role in our waste management operations. As a Roll Off Driver, you will be responsible for capable of handling a variety of tasks, with a minimum of 2 years experience. Must have a valid class 1/3 driver's license with an air brake endorsement and a clean driving record. This is an outstanding opportunity for a Roll Off Driver to join our team and use their skills in a fast-paced and growing industry.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting roll-off containers to and from designated locations, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and commercial driving, as well as the ability to perform basic automotive repairs when necessary.

Duties

Operate roll-off trucks to transport containers for waste management or recycling purposes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and service logs. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding schedules and service requirements. Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on vehicles as needed. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols while driving in various conditions. Ensure that all protocols are followed while dumping loads at municipal recycling/waste facilities Required to be able to lift the Roll-Off hook and attach it to the bin, requires bending and ability to lift 25-50 pounds

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience in commercial driving, particularly with roll-off trucks or similar heavy equipment. Knowledge of freight handling procedures and waste management practices is preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic automotive repairs. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
