Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roll Off Driver to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating Hooklift trucks to transport waste and recyclable materials. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Part- Time hours: 10-25 hours/ week, with potential to turn full time.

Some Saturdays may needed as per business needs.

Responsibilities

Operate roll-off trucks to pick up and deliver containers at designated locations. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials while adhering to all safety protocols. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle inspections. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding schedules and service needs. Assist with the operation of forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed during loading and unloading processes. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations related to commercial driving and waste transportation.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with hooklift or similar vehicles. Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is a plus. Familiarity with automotive repair is beneficial for performing basic vehicle maintenance. Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a team environment. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
