Roll Off Driver/Dump Truck Driver

Ghent Landscape is currently seeking motivated individuals looking to join our growing team as a Roll Off/Dump Truck Driver. The ideal candidate is also comfortable operating various landscape construction heavy equipment.

Salary:

$27-$32/hr, dependent on license and experience

Responsibilities

Drive dump truck to local pits and load with materials Deliver materials to job sites Deliver and pick up bins Float machines to and from sites Some general labour duties on job sites Required to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions Comply with all company health and safety guidelines Responsible for own transportation to shop Responsible to provide own personal protective equipment Other duties will be assigned as required

Desired Skills and Experience

3 years of previous heavy truck driving experience required DZ license required, AZ license strongly preferred Must have experience driving a roll-off truck Must be comfortable climbing in and out of the bin Must be comfortable loading and floating heavy equipment Must be safety conscious Excellent team player Great communication skills Ability to work independently and follow instructions Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record Must be punctual and personable Must obtain WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety training
