to join our growing earthworks team on high-paced, heavy civil construction projects across Alberta. If you've got a solid work ethic, a passion for operating heavy machinery, and a strong sense of humour about mud in places it shouldn't be--this job is for you.
What You'll Be Doing:
Operating articulated rock trucks safely and efficiently to move materials across rough terrain
Performing pre- and post-trip equipment inspections
Assisting with basic site tasks and equipment maintenance as needed
Working closely with foremen and site supervisors to meet daily production targets
Adhering to all safety regulations and protocols (because we'd like to keep all our limbs, thanks)
What We're Looking For:
Minimum
2 years of experience
operating articulated rock trucks (Volvo, CAT, etc.)
Valid
Class 5 driver's license
with reliable transportation to site
CSTS/WHMIS certification (or willingness to obtain)
A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to function well in a team
Ability to work long hours, in all weather conditions, without complaining (too much)
