Rock Truck Driver (bruce Mines, On)

Job Description
The Materials group is looking for an individual to fill an equipment operator position at the Bruce Mines Quarry location. The primary role of this individual will be to operate a Rock Truck. There will also be opportunities for some groundwork when required.
Schedule:
Night shift, Monday-Friday, 55-60 hours a week, with the possibility of working weekends when required.Job Location:
Bruce Mines Quarry: 9630 Hwy 17, Bruce Mines ON.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate a Rock Truck to move, load and unload material. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Report any maintenance concerns with the equipment to supervisor. Understand ground disturbance challenges while operating. Comply and enforce the company's environmental, health and safety policies. Coordinates truck activities with the loader and other truck operators. Able to work independently in a busy environment.
EDUCATION, REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE:
Must have valid G driver's license Ability to work quickly, efficiently and in a safe manner. Be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Working well with others.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Long periods of sitting Physically demanding tasks including manual labour. Exposure to noisy environments and rough terrain. Long workdays (10-12 hours).
