IMPORTANT: The position is to join a pre-revenue company. Currently we are seeking members to help lay the foundation of this company. Once revenue is generated and the company can pay employees, we will issue employment contracts.

We are seeking a highly skilled Robotics Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing robotic systems and automation solutions relating to the construction industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in manufacturing, system design, and signal processing, utilizing advanced engineering tools and programming languages. The position requires a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical engineering principles, along with proficiency in CAD software and firmware development. Candidates should be passionate about robotics, system integration, and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities



Design and develop robotic systems, including hardware integration and system architecture. Create detailed schematics and electrical diagrams using AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks. Develop firmware and embedded software using C++, Python, Perl, scripting languages, and ARM microcontrollers. Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation processes within manufacturing/construction environments. Conduct system simulations and analysis using ANSYS, MATLAB, and signal processing techniques to optimize performance. Perform debugging and troubleshooting of hardware and software components to ensure reliable operation. Collaborate with mechanical engineers on mechanical design aspects utilizing CAD tools such as Revit and MicroStation. Implement FPGA-based solutions for high-speed data processing and control applications. Develop system documentation including schematics, firmware documentation, and technical reports. Stay current with emerging technologies in electrical engineering, firmware development, and manufacturing automation to enhance system capabilities.

Qualifications



Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related field. Proven experience with FPGA development, signal processing, system design, and automation in manufacturing settings. Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, Perl, and scripting for automation tasks. Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles including schematics creation, firmware development, and electrical troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit), mechanical design tools (SolidWorks), and simulation platforms (ANSYS, MATLAB). Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), microcontrollers (ARM), and embedded systems development. Mechanical knowledge relevant to robotics applications is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex hardware/software issues efficiently. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams. Pay: Up to $182,411.14 per year

While there is no immediate compensation, this role offers the opportunity to become a foundational contributor to the company. Individuals who help establish the core systems, processes, and direction of Vision Build will be considered for senior and executive-level positions as the company matures and begins operations.
