We proudly offer After-school training courses for K-12 Students on Robotics, Coding, 3D Modelling, Math, Design Mindset Training, Video Game Design and full spectrum STEAM.

With expansions of Robotics Competition Programs, we welcome on boarding more passionate Robotics Competitions Coaches!!!

Duties and Responsibilities:



Lead and mentor the Robotics competition team, fostering a positive and inclusive team culture; Instruct and support team members in the design, construction, and programming of robots for competition; Collaborate with team members to develop and refine strategies for competitions, emphasizing critical thinking and creativity; Ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with safety guidelines and the rules and regulations of related Competition Programs; Act as project coordinator for the build/competition season and communicate with students/families about all team activities; Create an atmosphere where students feel valued, cared and empowered so that they can take intellectual risks; Expose students to new technologies, skills, and knowledge to increase their interest in science, technology, engineering, math etc.; Create opportunities for students to take on leadership roles on the team; Attend to the administration of the team (register for events, etc.) and keep track of a budget and submit expenses; Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications:



Major in computer related fields (Programming/Engineering/Science) is preferred;

Previous experience in coaching or mentoring robotics competition teams is highly desirable;

Strong knowledge of robotics, including design, programming, and troubleshooting;

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students and parents;

Passion for benefiting kids through STEAM education;

Familiarity with robotics competition paperwork, managing permission slips, event waivers, and student registration etc. is preferred;

Be able to pass BC criminal record check;

Must be fluent in English and second language a bonus;

First Aid Certification preferred;

Must have a SIN card and legal working permit;

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 20 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
